Theme: "Yourself as a Leader"
Topic: MAKING STUDENT’S LIFE AWESOME IF I AM A LEADER



There are two sorts of individuals in this world, followers and leaders. Followers are the general population that never play a leadership part in any movement. However leaders are the ones that utilization their leadership aptitudes to make a contrast in this world, for example, presidents, instructors, or even school graduates. Leadership is not something you can gain from a book, but rather you need to pick up this aptitude through encounters, for example, holding an office, sorting out an occasion, talking before individuals, or taking part in a leadership program. This is a reason I need to be a piece of college's Leadership program. I need to pick up the information and abilities important to make an alternate in my school, my group, my area, and indeed, even my reality. This project will give me the data so I can turn into a leader, not a follower. As we know, there are many students who register for their programs and don’t turn up to college after that. I would make a lot of changes to the college so that i can make more students come to college.


First, I would make the whole campus more lively and more colorful so that students feel alive in college and will love the environment in college. Colors plays a very important role in every individual’s life. Example, red is a color that shows anger, green is a color that brings peace and harmony, and black is color which makes people feel bad and bored. So, I would first change the color of the college to something which makes students feel lively and energetic. Second, we all know Lim Kok Wing University consist of many kind of students from different countries with different cultures. I will change and increase the varieties of food and beverages in the plaza according to all the different cultures. This will make the students comfortable when they eat because they are used to their own culture’s food.






Next, as we know Lim Kok Wing University do not offer many co-curiculum activities to their students because they are more to creative and innovation. They are still students with many talents and they would love to show them. So, I will increase all the curriculum activities and invite all the students to join different types of activities. Such as, badminton, golf, football and many more. This can also make the college well known when they win tournaments with other colleges. This will make more students join the activities and attend college. I will have many weekly programs in the plaza and make sure each and every student there joins the programs. This is to make new or lonely students make friends through the programs and will not feel left out after that. They will feel comfortable and will start mingling around with other people. This will make them want to come to college every day to meet their new friends and attend class together.


Followed by, I will improve all the facilities in college. Such as, the wireless connection, the gym, the music studio, the pool table and the other facilities. This is because any students come to college to finish their assignments but they get turned down because of the bad connection and slow internet. So, if I manage to upgrade the internet, this will make more students come to college. Besides that, the other students can still come to college and go to gym for a cheaper price and can even play pool when they are bored after or before class. One of the most important thing to change is the management of Lim Kok Wing University. Based on the survey which I did, I found out that many students are having hard time with management when it comes to making payment and many other things. Most of them get turned down and decide not to attend class because the student are being blamed when its not their fault. I will make sure I make some changes to the management so that student’s life becomes easier and they will not get upset. This will make them feel happy to come to college and attend classes.


To make the students enjoy what they are learning while they understand all of it, lecturers has to undergo personal training in their major subject so that they can improve their teaching skills. This will make the students have fun in class and feel happy because they can understand each and everything of what the lecturers teach. Students will not miss any class if this changes is made. To make it even more attractive for students to come to class. I will change the environment in each and every class so that students don’t feel bored when they are in class and will feel very comfortable. Basically, I will ease the students life so that we will have a great number of students attend the classes and start scoring really good in every courses and this will make Lim Kok Wing University a well known university and this will attract more students to this university. Like they say “ a pinch of salt” is enough to make a great different to a soup.




In a nut shell, If I become a leader of Lim Kok Wing Universiy, I will male all this changes so that more students come to college and enjoy their life in college. This is because college is the last place students can enjoy their teenage life. I want to make their memories in college a memorable one and meanwhile make sure they all graduate with flying colors. In order to achieve that, a few changes has to be made here and there. I hope I can make all this work if I am a leader and I would never let any of my fellow followers down. Lastly, a university is a place to make students life more meaningful and not to make their life like the 7th level of hell. So let us all together make this changes here.
